Privacy Policy

The Short Version
- Your images never leave your device. Conversion happens inside your browser. We never receive, see or store your files.
- No account, no sign-up. We don’t ask for your name, email or any personal details to use the converter.
- No ads yet. We plan to show ads in the future to keep the site free. Your images will never be shared with advertisers.
Your Files
When you add an image, your browser reads it from your device and converts it locally using code that runs in a Web Worker. The original and the converted result stay in your browser’s memory until you close or reload the page, remove the file, or clear the list. Files are never transmitted to our servers or to any third party.
Converted images are created from pixel data only, so metadata such as EXIF details, GPS location and camera information is not included in the output.
Information Stored in Your Browser
We store two small preferences in your browser’s local storage so the site remembers your choices:

These never leave your device and contain no personal information. You can remove them at any time by clearing your browser’s site data. We do not set cookies.
Advertising
We don’t show ads at the moment, but we plan to in the future to cover running costs and keep the site free. Before ads go live, we will update this policy to explain who provides them, what cookies they use and how you can control them. Ads will never have access to your images.
Server Logs
Like almost every website, the server that delivers our pages may automatically record basic request information, such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request. This is used only to keep the service secure and working, and is kept for a limited time by our hosting provider. These logs never contain your images.
Third Parties
All scripts, codecs and fonts are served from our own domain. The site does not currently load content from advertising networks, social media widgets or analytics services. If this changes, we will update this policy before it does.
Children
The service is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone.
Your Rights
Because we don’t collect personal data through the converter, there is usually nothing for us to access, correct or delete. If you have a question about server logs or this policy, contact us and we will respond.
Changes
If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
